Who this covers
This policy describes how KC Inks, in Fort Worth, TX 76131 handles information collected through this website.
What is collected
When you submit a consultation request, the following is collected:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Details about the tattoo you are asking about: your idea, placement, approximate size, style, budget range, and whether it would be your first tattoo.
- Any reference images you choose to upload.
- Whether you opted in to text message reminders, and if so the date, time, and IP address of that consent.
- Your IP address and browser user agent, recorded with the request.
Why it is collected
To respond to your request, discuss and quote your tattoo, and arrange an appointment. Contact details are used to reach you about your enquiry. They are not used for marketing, and they are not sold, rented, or traded.
Reference images
Reference images you upload are stored on this website's server. Location data is removed from every uploaded image before it is stored: photographs often carry GPS coordinates, and those are stripped rather than kept. Images are used only to understand and prepare your tattoo.
Text messages
Text message reminders are not active at this time. If you opt in, the record of that consent is stored so reminders can be enabled later without asking you again. If reminders are switched on, message frequency will vary, message and data rates may apply, and you will be able to reply STOP to opt out at any time.
Third parties
- Email delivery. Mailgun is used to send the confirmation email for your request and to notify KC. Your name, email address, and request details pass through Mailgun's systems for that delivery.
- Web hosting. This site and its database are hosted on a shared web host, which stores the submitted information and standard server logs.
- SMS. No SMS provider is in use yet. This policy will be updated before any text messages are sent.
No advertising networks, analytics trackers, or social media pixels run on this site.
How long it is kept
Consultation requests and their reference images are retained while your enquiry is active and afterwards as a record of work discussed and performed. Requests that do not lead to an appointment are reviewed periodically and removed when they are no longer needed.
Portfolio use of tattoo photographs
Photographs of finished tattoos may be shown on this site and on social media. Those photographs are separate from the reference images you upload, which are never published. Tell KC if you would prefer your tattoo not be photographed or displayed.
Requesting deletion
You can ask for your information and any uploaded images to be deleted at any time. Email kcinks@gmail.com or call 620.855.0004, and say which request it relates to. Records required for tax or medical-consent purposes may be retained where the law requires it.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and consultation requests may only be submitted by adults.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
